In the middle of the 17th century, the area of the zoo was extended and at the same time an Italian park with a sauna was built. The renovation started when Jan Sobiesky was crowned (1674). In the 1740s century, the new owner of Zhovkva (Lithuanian hetman Michal Radziwill (1702-1762)) upgraded this park according to the plan of the Italian architect Antonio Castello.
Today the former zoo is a park.
